Terms of Use

The service

The service is a free browser tool for arranging pedalboards and equipment in millimetres, checking patch plug clearance in two dimensions, and saving, sharing and exporting boards. It can be used without an account.

The operator may change the service or discontinue some features to improve features and the catalog.

Limits of dimension and compatibility checks

Catalog dimensions, jack positions and power specifications are based on manufacturer and retailer information, values estimated from photos, user input and similar sources, and may be wrong or incomplete. The same model may also differ by production period and revision.

The clearance check is a two-dimensional judgment seen from above. It does not account for the following.

Check before buying or assembling

On-screen results do not guarantee actual assembly or operation, so check the manufacturer’s latest specifications and real measurements yourself before buying or assembling.

Prices, purchase links and affiliates

Purchase links lead to outside retailers. Prices, stock, shipping, returns and purchase contracts are between you and the retailer; the operator is not a party to the transaction. The service does not guarantee real-time prices, stock or the lowest price.

Some links are affiliate links, and the operator may earn a commission when you buy through them. Commissions do not affect clearance or compatibility results.

“Find used” only opens search results on outside marketplaces and does not guarantee that a listing is the same model or still for sale.

Advertising

The service may show ads. Advertisers are responsible for their ads and for transactions on their sites.

Your data and backups

Boards are stored in your browser, and the operator cannot keep or recover them. They can be lost when browser data is cleared, when you change devices or when storage runs out, so keep backups with “Export backup”.

Anyone who receives a shared link can open it, and the link is sent to is.gd when shortened. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Content you enter

You must hold the rights needed for the names you enter and the images you upload. Uploaded images are stored only in this browser, and you are responsible for sharing exports that include them.

Prohibited conduct

Optional catalog photo contributions

After a report is received, you may use a separate Google Form to provide photos you took and have permission to share. The photo form asks you to agree that Yardstomp may crop, remove backgrounds and resize them for use in its web catalog and board images. The service may include affiliate purchase links.

The operator checks the product and permission before following the existing review process. Providing photos does not guarantee catalog registration, publication, a completion date or a reply. The catalog reports section of the Privacy Policy explains transfers, retention and deletion requests for reports and photos.

Rights and trademarks

Rights to the service’s code, design and catalog compilation belong to the operator or the original rights holders. Notices for open source and third-party material included in the service are in the document below.

Product names, brands, logos and product images belong to their respective owners. Apart from the affiliate programs of the retailers shown, the service is not affiliated with or endorsed by those brands.

Product images and requests from rights holders

Product images on Yardstomp are published product photos or drawings based on product dimensions, included to help you recognize and arrange equipment. If you hold the rights to an image and do not want it shown, please let us know at contact@yardstomp.com. Send the product name or page address together with information that lets us confirm your rights, and we will review it and promptly remove or correct the image.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided free of charge and “as is”. The operator does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of information or its fitness for a particular purpose.

The operator is not responsible for the results of purchases and assembly based on the service’s dimension and compatibility information, problems arising at retailers or outside services, or the loss of data stored in your browser. This does not apply to damage caused by the operator’s intent or gross negligence, or where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to the service and these terms

The operator may change these terms when needed. The changes and their effective date will be announced on this page and in the service’s notices at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree to the changes, you may stop using the service; continuing to use it after a change means you agree to the revised terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes related to the service are resolved by the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.

If the English or Japanese translation differs from the Korean original, the Korean original prevails.
